SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND: This Ordinance provides for the purchase of
property by the City of

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND: This Ordinance provides for the purchase of 5
pieces of property for the redevelopment of the Main Street Corridor, to be
conveyed to the Forest Park Development Authority.
10. Consider an Ordinance by the City Council
for the City of Forest Park, Georgia, to appropriate additional funds in the
amount of $50,000.00 to cover added computer hardware and software costs for
City Departments; to repeal all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith; to provide an effective date; and for other purposes
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND: An
appropriation is requested in the amount of $50,000.00 to cover additional
computer hardware and software costs. These funds are needed to upgrade the
City’s technology in the areas of internet and email activity.
11. Consider an Ordinance
by the City Council for the City of Forest Park, Georgia, to appropriate
additional funds in the amount of $19,000.00 to cover additional Annual Audit
costs expected in the Finance Department; to repeal all Ordinances and parts of
Ordinances in conflict herewith; to provide an effective date; and for other
purposes
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND: An
appropriation is requested in the amount of $19,000.00 to cover additional
annual audit costs for the current audit. The auditors have informed the
Finance Director that additional procedures are necessary, to complete the
requirements for auditing City grants and projects. This is the result of increased
activity in redevelopment and other projects in the City.
