VIII.      Open Public Hearing to receive comments on the petition submitted by Sherial Durden, 4197 Tara Drive, for a Conditional Use permit to operate a “Family in-home daycare” in a residential home

 

                        SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:  Sherial Durden is the petitioner of the property located at 4197 Tara Drive, Forest Park.  Ms Durden is seeking a Conditional Use Permit to begin the process to legally operate a family in-home daycare to accommodate six (6) children ages one (1) year to twelve (12) years of age.  Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  On July 27, 2009 a petition for a Conditional Use Permit was filed with this office for the proposed family in-home daycare to be located in the R-80 Single Family Residential neighborhood.  The Planning and Zoning Board held a Public Hearing on September 2, 2009 and subsequently voted unanimously to recommend approval of the petition.
