SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND: Funds were requested for the 2007-2008 budget and appropriated for estimated costs associated with holding a Centennial Celebration for the City of Forest Park in August of this year. During the City’s annual audit, the costs were moved to the 2008-2009 budget year by the auditors. Therefore, funds in the amount of $110,000.00 are requested to be appropriated since the budget amount for the 2007-2008 year was not used.
