Spring Football Game; June 9, 16, 28, 30, 2009 and July 16, 30, 2009 to conduct
7 on 7 Passing League; and August 20, 2009 pre-season scrimmage games at a rate
of $100 for use of field per date and $50 for use of Concession Stand per date;
for severability; to provide an effective date; and for other purposes
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:

a Resolution by the City Council of the City of
Forest
Park authorizing the Mayor to execute a License Agreement with the Southern
Football League for the use of Kiwanis Stadium to conduct a Football Game at a
rate of two hundred dollars ($200) per game for the stadium and seventy five
dollars ($75) per game for use of concession stand; to provide for
severability; to provide an effective date; and for other purposes
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:
The Southern Football League has requested use of Kiwanis Stadium and
concession stand to conduct semi-pro football games on the following
dates: July 25th, August 1st
and 8th, 2009. The License
Agreement is a revocable License Agreement and includes liability insurance, general
release, indemnification and hold harmless provisions.

all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith; to provide an
effective date; and for other purposes

Park, Georgia to appropriate funds in the amount of $312,905.00 to cover the
projected amount to fund the Retiree Medical Plan to comply with Government
Accounting Standards Board Statement 45; to repeal all Ordinances and parts of
Ordinances in conflict herewith; to provide an effective date; and for other
purposes
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:
An appropriation is needed to fund the Retiree Medical Plan in an
additional amount of $312,905.00. The
funding is required to comply with Government Accounting Standards Board
Statement 45. The Statement establishes
standards of financial accounting and reporting for governmental employers who
offer post-employment benefits to their employees. The new Statement addresses employer funding
requirements based on actuarial computations.
10. Consider a revised ordinance by the
City Council for the City
of
Forest Park, Georgia to authorize the acquisition and purchase of certain Real
Estate in the City for a purchase price of less than appraised value; to
provide for temporary funding of said purchase from the General Fund of the
City; to provide for reimbursement to the General Fund from funds received from
the “SPLOST” tax in 2009; to provide for severability; to repeal all Ordinances
and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith; to provide an effective date; and
for other purposes
