VIII. Open Public Hearing to receive
comments on the Local Law Enforcement Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant
SUMMARY
AND BACKGROUND: Persons attending
the hearing shall be given the opportunity to provide written and oral views of
the Forest Park Police Department in relation to this grant. The grant amount is $17,306 with no matching
amount. The Forest Park Police
Department intends to use the funding for the purpose of purchasing equipment
that will assist with apprehending suspects involved in metal thefts.

Stadium and Concession Stand for the dates of September 23rd,

conduct Football Games in their Region 5-A Varsity Football Program; to provide
for severability; to provide an effective date; and for other purposes

Resolution by the City Council of the City of Forest Park authorizing the Mayor to execute a License Agreement with Babb
Middle School of the Clayton County School District for the use of Kiwanis
Stadium and concession stand to conduct Football games; August 30th,
September 13th, September 27th, 2011 at a rate of $100
for use of field per date and $50 for use of Concession Stand per date; to
provide for severability; to provide an effective date; and for other purposes

Body of the City of Forest Park, Georgia, establishing the budget for the
SPLOST Capital Project Fund for the Fiscal Year 2011-2012
5. Consider an Ordinance by the Governing
Body of the City of Forest Park, Georgia establishing the Budget for Special
Revenue Funds for the Fiscal Year 2011-2012
SUMMARY
AND BACKGROUND: The Special Revenue Funds are used to account for the proceeds
of specific revenue sources that are restricted to expenditures for specified
purposes. These funds consist of various
Grants and Projects that are not included in the general operations budget of
the City.
