is the third public hearing
required to receive comments on the proposed millage rate. The current millage rate is 10.343 mills, the
proposed millage
rate is 12.343 mills.

funds in the amount of $13,664.00 to cover estimated computer equipment
maintenance costs for the Police Department; to repeal all Ordinances and parts
of Ordinances in conflict herewith; to provide an effective date; and for other
purposes
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND: An oversight was made
in
the Finance Department concerning the police computer equipment maintenance.
With the acquisition of the new hardware and software, the maintenance costs
increased $13,664 for the current fiscal year. The adjustment was requested, but was
inadvertently left off in the final preparation of the budget.

an Ordinance by the City Council of the City of
Rate for the City of Forest Park, Georgia, to provide for
severability; and for other purposes

Consider
an Ordinance by the City Council of the City of Forest Park, Georgia, to
appropriate funds in an amount of $150,000.00 from the unappropriated balance
of the General Fund in order to provide for the demolition of various
structures on City owned properties, Environmental Studies, design services,
and other fees and costs related to safety upkeep and development of such
properties; to provide for severability; to repeal conflicting ordinances; and
for other purposes
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND: Several city properties are in need of
demolition for safety reasons as well as redevelopment purposes which will
require additional environmental studies, design services and other possible
related fees and costs.
The
ordinance is to appropriate $150,000 from the unappropriated balance of the
General Fund to the Redevelopment Line Item #100-51-7324-54-1100 to cover costs
and fees associated with demolitions, environmental studies, design services
related to safety, upkeep and development of such properties.

an Ordinance by the City Council for the City of
Forest Park, Georgia to approve the “First Amendment to the City’s Retirement Savings Plan” attached hereto as
Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference; to authorize the Mayor to
execute said amendment on behalf of the City; to provide for severability; to
repeal all Ordinances, Resolutions and parts of Ordinances and Resolutions in
conflict herewith; to provide an effective date; and for other purposes

Consider an Ordinance by the City Council for the City of Forest Park,
Georgia to approve the “First Amendment to the City’s Deferred Compensation
Plan” attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference; to
authorize the Mayor to execute said amendment on behalf of the city; to provide
for severability; to repeal all Ordinances, Resolutions and parts of Ordinances
and Resolutions in conflict herewith; to provide an effective date; and for
other purposes
