Minutes
A called meeting of the Forest Park/Fort Gillem Local
Redevelopment Authority was held on Monday, November 17, 2008, at the
Board Members: Sparkle Adams; Mike Beatty;
Corine Deyton; Donald Judson; Maudie McCord, John Parker, John Westervelt, and
Debbie Youmans.
Staff, Legal Counsel and
Others: Fred
Bryant, Executive Director; Herb Wolverton,
John
Westervelt called the meeting to order at 5:48 p.m. It was determined that a
quorum was present. The following matters were addressed:

Comments:

Westervelt welcomed everyone to the meeting.
New Business:
Fred
Bryant briefly discussed the procedures followed by the Fort Gillem Business
Plan RFP Evaluation Committee and introduced Rodney Tookes who was selected by
the Committee to make recommendations to the LRA Board. Rodney Tookes discussed
the teams that submitted proposals and provided each Board member the overall
Committee Evaluation sheet and rank order (attached). He recommended the Board
invite three teams to oral interviews: Matrix, Huntley and Burns and McDonnell.
Don Judson made a motion to approve the recommendation, seconded by Mike
Beatty. The Board voted unanimously to approve the motion.
Fred
Bryant recommended that an oral interview schedule be set on November 19, 2008
and that the interviews be held the first week of December.
The
next regular meeting will be November 19, 2008, at 6:00 PM.
Adjournment:
A motion was made by John Parker to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Don Judson. The meeting was adjourned at 5:54 p.m.
