EXERCISE CLASSES
STRETCH WITH THE REST
Seniors will have stretching and moving exercises. You may sit or stand and enjoy some good morning exercise. See you Tuesday mornings at 9am at the Forest Park Senior Center.
WALK IN TIME
Walk on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at the gymnasium 9am-10:30am. Get in shape and walk all you want. Join the Silver Steppers. They walk when the gym is available.
YOGA
 Yoga classes are held on Wednesday evenings 6:45pm-8pm at the Recreation Building . Cost: $25 per month. Sign up at the gymnasium Monday-Friday 12noon-7pm
SWIM FOR FUN
Our swim for fun program meets on Tuesday and Thursday in the indoor pool at the Recreation Building 1:30pm-2:30pm. Cost: $1. You may swim laps, float around, or just get in and talk. But you must be 55 years or older to participate.
WATER EXERCISE
This class meets on Monday and Wednesday 1pm-2pm at the indoor pool. Fee: $15 monthly. Class will start March 2006. Class will meet monthly. Instructor - Jackie Fears
SHUFFLEBOARD
We will be playing shuffleboard on Wednesday on the new shuffleboard courts at the Forest Park Senior Center. We will teach you if you do not know how to play. It is a fun game and anyone can play. Courts are open any time the building is opened. Wednesday mornings 10am is practice for team play.
LINE DANCING CLUB
Line Dancing Club meet on Wednesday afternoons 1pm-3pm. Director: Wayne Evans
Come enjoy exercising and meeting new friends.
COFFEE "N" CAKE
Every morning (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) we will be meeting and talking about new programs, grand children, gossip or anything you would like. We will meet at 9am at the Forest Park Senior Center. Bring your pictures, notes, or take home bag.
MOVIE DAY
Stop by the Forest Park Senior Center on the fourth Wednesday of each month for a great afternoon out. Enjoy a movie, popcorn and even a coke. Our movie will be shown at 1:30pm. Seats are limited so come early. Call the Senior Center for information.
ARTS & CRAFTS
Classes are second and fourth Tuesday afternoons 1pm-3pm at the Forest Park Senior Center. Bring your ideas and share them with the class.

CANASTA & HAND & FOOT
The card club meets every Thursday morning at 9:30am at the Forest Park Senior Center. So get your partners together. It is for beginners, advanced, or super players. It is a way to have fun and meet new people. You can come by any day to see a game going. So come learn and check it out.
LINE DANCING CLASSES
Classes are taught on Thursday evenings 5pm-7pm at the Forest Park Senior Center. Cost: $5 per night. Instructor: Wayne Evans New classes are starting all the time. Stop by and see if you would like to start.
BINGO
We play bingo on the second and fourth Fridays of the month at 10am. The cost is $1. We will start bingo at 10am at the Forest Park Senior Center, so don't forget. Bingo Lunch is $2 on the 4th Friday, so come join us for a great lunch. We also have Bingo Breakfast the 2nd Friday 8:30am-9:30am for $1-$2.
TRIAD
TRIAD meets at the Forest Park Senior Center the third Friday of each month. Meetings start at 10am. Leroy Grigley is Chairman of the TRIAD Club. Come and join the TRIAD Club and be a more informed Senior on Safety and Scam issues.
COMPUTER CLASSES
The Forest Park Senior Center will be teaching computer classes in our new computer lab.
4th DISTRICT GOLDEN OLYMPICS
Will be held at Forest Park on May 10-12, 2006. Pick up your registration form at the Forest Park Senior Center. We have a variety of events to participate in. Some are competitive and others are just for fun. Forms are ready by March 30th.
SUPER SILVER STEPPERS
Walking Club meets each Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am-10:30am in the gymnasium at the Recreation Center. Cost: $1 per month
RED HATTERS CLUB
The Red Hatters Society meets on the first Monday of each month at 10:30am at the Forest Park Senior Center. They meet and then eat, or go out to eat or just meet for a Tea Social. Fee: $5 to join and $1 monthly. Join and get to show your outfit and hat off. We enjoy going out to show off our club.
CERAMICS
Meeting March 27, 2006 at 10am to start a beginners class.
CPR CLASS
Class will be held for adult CPR. Class is from 9am until finished. Sign up early. We hope to start a new class in March.
55ALIVE
Class will be held 9am-1pm. The fee for the class is $10. Sign up now. You can save money on your insurance with some companies.

SOUP & CORNBREAD LUNCH
March 15, 2006 - Our annual Soup & Cornbread lunch will be held at the Senior Center. Tickets are $3 per person. Soup is served 11am-1pm. Take-outs are available. Get your tickets early and sign up for deliveries to your company. Desserts are also available.
EASTER DINNER
April 12, 2006 - Easter Dinner will be served at 6pm. Bring your covered dish and join in for a great dinner. Tickets are available and required.
COVERED DISH LUNCH
April 26, 2006 & May 15, 2006 - Covered lunch for anyone that brings a dish. Bring your favorite dish and share it. Starts at 11:30am. NO TAKE-OUTS!
FUN LUNCH
June 27, 2006 - Covered dish, but bring something funny and different. Starts at 11:30am.
HILLBILLY HO-DOWN
May 20, 2006 - Our Hillbilly Ho-Down is a night of old-time music and some great BBQ. Tickets are $5 per person. Tickets are required and sold at the Forest Park Senior Center. Dinner is from 6pm to 8pm. Take-outs are available. We have a great band and the music takes you back to the country.
SENIOR PICNIC
June 17, 2006 - The Senior Picnic is a lot of fun with everyone bringing a covered salad dish. Tickets are available as space is limited. We will be cooking lots of hot dogs and hamburgers. So come ready to eat.
ICE CREAM SOCIAL
July 6, 2006 - Ice Cream Social will be on July 7, 1pm-2:30pm. Tickets are $1 per person for great homemade ice cream that you turn into a super sundae. Tickets are limited. NO TAKE-OUTS
LUAU
August 12, 2006 - is our colorful luau with some great food. Everyone brings a covered dish and the Senior Center furnishes the meat. Tickets are required. Luau held 6pm-8pm. Come in your favorite luau outfit or just something colorful. NO TAKE-OUTS
ITALIAN NIGHT
September 23, 2006 - Italian Night is a great night for a taste of our special Italian food. Tickets are $4 per person and required. Dinner starts at 6pm. NO TAKE-OUTS
